This three-day class takes a new approach to learning, combining both lecture and lab time.  Your instructor is one of Vertafore’s top experts on ImageRight and WorkFlow Studio.  You’ll get in-depth instruction as well as one-on-one learning during dedicated lab time.  You will return to work with practical experience in applying your new skills.

Overview

ImageRight Workflow Studio is a graphical programming tool that enables you to develop and maintain ImageRight workflows. An ImageRight workflow can be thought of as an “application” that moves tasks or “to do’s” from one person to another.

ImageRight Workflow Studio is used to replicate your business workflow processes, providing tools to design, test, save and commit workflows.

Skill Level of Successful Students

In order to fully participate in class, advanced skills are required.  The class is intended for advanced users who are not only familiar with advanced administration of ImageRight, but also with some scripting, programming or similar experience.  Those who are experienced ImageRight system administrators, and or developers assuming responsibility for maintaining and developing ImageRight workflows for their firms will benefit from attendance.  To gain the most benefit from the time in class, some exposure to scripting is advised.

In order to develop complex workflows, basic knowledge of Visual Basic (or JavaScript) scripting is recommended.

Participants may be business unit managers, IT business analysts, IT application programmers, or ImageRight System Administrators. Regardless of your role, a familiarization with programming or scripting is recommended as a key to success.

Prerequisites

The following are prerequisite skills for ImageRight Workflow Studio training:

  • ImageRight Desktop – understand file structures and workflow concepts from the end user’s perspective.
    • How to search for and open files
    • How to navigate through the file structure
    • How to find work in the To Do list
    • How to lock a task and options for moving the task
  • ImageRight Enterprise Management Console (EMC) – understand how granting rights within EMC affects the ImageRight Desktop functionality and task capability.
    • How to create a group/role and add members to a group/role
    • How to grant workflow rights to a group/role
    • How new workflow rights appear to the end user in the ImageRight Desktop

Training includes complete, extensive hands-on exercises that help you become familiar with creating, implementing, refining, and maintaining ImageRight workflows.  A basic knowledge of Visual Basic or other scripting tool is required in order to develop complex workflows.

Q: How large is the class?
A: ImageRight Workflow Studio Immersion Class was designed to be intimate and in-depth. Accordingly, there will only be 15 seats available.

Cancellation requests received in writing within 30 days of the event will be fully refunded. Cancellations received within 14 days of the event will be charged a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds will be made within 7 days of the event. Transfers to another individual are permitted at any time with no penalty.
